Thank you for sharing your story with me. I have worked with many people over the years, who have had traumatic experiences, and I am often asked whether my work ever gets me down. My answer to the question is "No", because it is in a human beings darkest moments that I see the bright light of the human spirit shining through, and that is very uplifting to see.

You do not have to mention your name or email address, but I would like to send you a thank you email for sharing your story with me. If you do provide your Name and email address, I promise that I will keep it confidential. I will also not share your story in any public forum without your express written approval. I am busy writing a book and my ask your permission, in the future, to include your story, whilst protecting your identity of course.

I am very interested in hearing the detail of your story, if you were able to deal with it, and if so, how you dealt with it. I am also very interested to hear whether your experience has had any significant lasting effect on your life.

Thank you again. I look forward to receiving your story.

Kind regards
Koos

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.
